Project Manager (Localization) - DE & EN speaker

About the role:

Are you a natural communicator who enjoys building relationships, coordinating projects and making things happen? Join TransPerfect’s team as a Project Manager, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality translation and localization solutions to global clients. Acting as a central point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, you’ll manage requests from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring every project runs smoothly, meets deadlines and exceeds client expectations.

This is an opportunity to combine customer relationship management, project coordination and problem-solving in an international, multilingual environment. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams and external vendors, balancing competing priorities and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships: serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing guidance and keeping them informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee end-to-end localization projects: manage the full workflow, from receiving and reviewing client requests to coordinating production, monitoring progress and ensuring successful delivery.
• Coordinate people and processes: collaborate with internal teams and relevant external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and deliverables are aligned with client expectations.
• Plan and manage deadlines: establish timelines, monitor project progress, anticipate potential bottlenecks and take proactive action to keep projects on track.
• Ensure quality and customer satisfaction: maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency and service quality while ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements.
• Solve problems proactively: address changing priorities, unexpected challenges and time-sensitive requests with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
• Take ownership and drive results: manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing attention to detail with efficiency and maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Strong organizational skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to managing workflows, deadlines and competing priorities
• A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand client needs, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the confidence to take responsibility for projects and make decisions within your remit
• The ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment, even when working under time pressure
• An outgoing, collaborative team player able to build meaningful relationships, coordinate different stakeholders and motivate others to work towards shared goals

Nice to have:

• Ideally 2+ years in project coordination/project management roles
• Experience working in the translation, localization or language services industry, or relevant studies related to this field
• Previous experience in customer service, client relationship management or similar client-facing roles
