About the role

As a Data Solutions Engineer, you will work with complex vehicle data and build reliable data flows that turn fragmented information into structured, high-quality data for our diagnostic products. You will work across the entire data flow, from ingestion and transformation to validation and delivery, with a strong focus on data quality, automation and scalable solutions.

You will play an important role in developing and maintaining the data pipelines that form the foundation of our diagnostic products. This position combines hands-on development with problem-solving and continuous improvement and you will work independently on technical solutions while collaborating closely with software developers, data developers and other teams across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Working with data ingestion, transformation, validation and delivery.

Ensuring data quality through automated testing and monitoring.

Identifying and resolving data errors, anomalies and pipeline issues.

Automating manual and repetitive data management processes.

Contributing to data modelling and cloud-based data solutions.

Translating technical requirements and vehicle protocols into reliable and useful datasets together with software developers, data developers and other stakeholders.

What you bring

We are looking for someone with solid experience in software development, data engineering or data solutions, who is comfortable taking ownership of technical solutions from idea to implementation. You enjoy working hands-on and solving technical problems, while also being able to step back, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute your own ideas on technical solutions and ways of working.

A relevant university degree is an advantage, but your professional experience will be the most important factor.

We believe you have:

Solid experience in programming and software development, for example Python.

Experience working with data management, data transformation and/or data pipelines.

Experience working with structured data such as XML, JSON and APIs.

The ability to independently drive technical solutions and take ownership of your work.

Good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are self-motivated, proactive and communicative. You take ownership and enjoy driving things forward, while contributing your own ideas on how technical solutions and processes can be improved. You work in a structured and quality-focused way and enjoy collaborating with people with different areas of expertise.
