In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The role demands continuous evaluation of code quality, system scalability, and performance to align with evolving business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a cohesive technical strategy and to drive successful project outcomes is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance technical capabilities.

- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with organizational objectives and client requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core Integrations.

- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable software architectures within Workday environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize system performance.

- Experience in managing end-to-end software development lifecycles with a focus on quality and maintainability.

- Familiarity with best practices in code review, version control, and continuous integration processes.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Studio.

- This position is based at our Chennai office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
