Finance Senior Project Manager

Your future tasks will be...

To enable the Group Finance Change team to continue to support the needs of Group Finance, we are looking to recruit a Finance Senior Project Manager. In this role You will work closely with other members of the team and other senior stakeholders across Finance to design, update, and implement new and existing Group Finance systems and processes to support the evolving Group Finance Operating Model.

The Finance Senior Project Manager will take a leading role in the design and implementation of updates to existing, and design of new finance systems and processes, while drawing on expertise from other stakeholders across Group Finance. They will establish and lead cross functional working teams to support their objectives and will work closely with other members of the Group Finance Change to enable this.

On a daily basis:

Establish and coordinate cross functional teams to address specific design topics

Support and coordinate the design and implementation of new finance systems and

Support and coordinate the design of new and update of existing finance processes gathering inputs as necessary from key stakeholders

Challenge current thinking and bring outside in view to current finance ways of working

Coordinate the integration of new finance systems in support of finance processes, working alongside the Finance Systems Lead as required

Coordinate the implementation of new finance processes, controls and policies and manage the change associated with these.

You are the ideal candidate if...

You bring at least 8 years of experience in Finance, either in an internal role or professional services such as Audit or Finance Consulting, although we are open to candidates who have progressed more quickly

You are fluent in business English

You have experience leading teams, either as a line manager or through project work

You are confident working with senior Finance leaders, such as GPOs, Financial Controllers, CFOs or Finance Directors

You have excellent communication and presentation skills

You have a good understanding of core concepts of financial control design

You have the ability to articulate end to end processes within Finance

You are an advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Visio

You are able to manage complex workloads and priorities

You are able to independently plan and execute projects including resource identification

You are comfortable working with both internal resources and external third-party resources as required.

You have an advantage if...

You have a professional finance qualification such as ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance

You have experience designing and implementing finance processes, either in a consulting or internal role

You have worked with cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation

You have contributed to large-scale finance transformation projects

You have knowledge of ECC6 and S/4HANA in a finance environment
