Graduate Algorithmic Trader 2027
Wintermute · New York, United States · Full-time · On site · September 01, 2026
Why a CV for this job?
- They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
- It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
- In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
- Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

What you will work on
We are looking for 2027 graduates with strong coding skills (Python) and a curiosity about HFT, liquidity provision and crypto trading. After a short training period with the traders, you’ll be tasked with improving existing strategies, adding new trading products and improving the technology behind our trading systems. You’ll need to analyze large amounts of trading and transaction data, generate insights, prioritize them and build solutions based on your findings. You can expect to be able to make an immediate impact on P&L and will be encouraged to explore new ideas and strategies. We will share more technical details in the interviews. The point is: there is no limit set by the company!
Note: we are looking for people with strong quantitative and coding skills, but this is a business/trading (not a Quant/ research) role first and foremost.
