ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Finance Master Data Management & Data Governance is responsible for supporting Finance Data strategy, governance, stewardship, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the enterprise Finance landscape. This role ensures Finance master data is trusted, governed, compliant, and fit for business operations while enabling enterprise transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA, AI, advanced analytics, automation, and regulatory compliance.
The role serves as the functional owner for Finance Master Data governance processes and partners closely with Global Finance, Enterprise Data Strategy, Technology, Global Business Services, Internal Audit, Compliance, and business stakeholders to establish standardized governance practices, improve data quality, support enterprise programs, and ensure Finance data assets are managed throughout their lifecycle.
As both a Finance Master Data subject matter expert and Data Steward, this position drives governance adoption by maintaining business metadata, data quality, lineage, business definitions, governance documentation, and critical data elements while leading operational execution of Finance master data processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Data Management or related field
- 5+ years of Finance Master Data, ERP, Data Governance or Finance Operations experience
- 5+ years supporting enterprise Finance ERP platforms
- Experience supporting global Finance organizations
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep expertise in Finance master data domains including GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, WBS, Project Systems, Hierarchies, and Chart of Accounts.
- Experience supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and migrations.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG, data quality platforms, metadata management, and governance tools.
- Experience establishing governance operating models, stewardship programs, and data quality frameworks.
- Understanding of data lineage, metadata, critical data elements, and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and data product initiatives.
