Chief Engineer of Maintenance of Way
Alstom · Sanford, United States · On site · September 17, 2026
Why a CV for this job?
- They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
- It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
- In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
- Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.
Your Role, Your Impact
- Drive scalable maintenance strategies to optimize network performance and asset longevity across diverse rail systems.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Establish and uphold rigorous reliability standards, proactively addressing risks and minimizing service disruptions.
- Champion the adoption of advanced technologies and innovative practices to enhance infrastructure resilience and efficiency.
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement within multidisciplinary teams.
You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in rail infrastructure maintenance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Expertise in track systems, signaling, asset management, and maintenance planning tools.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and lifecycle management in rail environments.
- Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams.
- Prior experience in managing a unionized workforce.
