Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

  • Performing basic and detailed engineering activities for high voltage, medium voltage, traction, and low voltage power supply systems
  • Providing calculation notes, technical specifications, and functional requirements
  • Validating supplier equipment offers and ensuring compliance with technical standards
  • Coordinating with subsystems such as SCADA, civil works, catenary, and EMC
  • Providing technical support to construction and commissioning teams
  • Contributing to As-built documentation and modifications if required

  • Degree in electrical systems engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Professional experience in railway transportation
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage electrical installations
  • Fluent in English (a second language is appreciated)
  • Autonomy, motivation, and a proactive approach to technical challenges
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
