Customer Claims and Compensation Expert

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Claims and Compensation Expert to join our team and work in a collaborative environment together with the global Sales, Finance, Customer Teams, and Business Units.

As a Customer Claims and Compensation Expert, you will:

• Support the coordination and monitoring of claims-related topics at GB level, including General & Economic Claims, Repricing, and Tariffs.
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze claims data received from multiple business units and stakeholders.
• Support the preparation and review of claims calculations and financial evaluations.
• Monitor claims performance and identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support planning, forecasting, and actual reporting activities related to claims topics.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across reporting systems.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Teams, and Business Units to gather, validate, and consolidate information.
• Follow up on agreed actions and support stakeholders in achieving defined targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Sales Controlling, Finance, Pricing, Claims Management, Business Analysis, or another commercial finance-related function. Experience in reporting, data analysis, or customer-related financial topics is an advantage.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of claims processes, financial reporting, KPI management, and business performance analysis; Advanced MS Excel skills; Experience with Power BI, CRM systems, reporting tools, or automation solutions is an advantage.
• Competences: Analytical & structured thinking; Attention to detail; Data quality & accuracy; Good communication and collaboration skills; Proactive approach with solution orientation; Resilience under pressure.
• Languages: English proficient user, German is an advantage.
