OVERVIEW:

The Trial Interactive Trainee Solutions Engineer supports the Trial Interactive Product Management team in achieving goals while learning about the Development Life Cycle. The role is designed to prepare for potential future opportunities within the Trial Interactive Solutions Engineering team at TransPerfect.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • General knowledge of web application development, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and how web services work
  • Moderate knowledge of how to troubleshoot application issues in a multi-tiered system
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with both clients and co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • General knowledge and coursework experience (practical knowledge and skills gained through academic courses) in web services
  • Proficiency in managing both Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Strong scripting ability using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Thorough understanding of MSSQL, MySQL, XML, and C#

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Work with Service Desk Analysts and Solutions Engineers to resolve Trial Interactive system Service Desk tickets
  • Handle escalations from Level 1 Service Desk Support
  • Assist with data migration with pre-defined utilities and processes
  • Work on Post Deployment Testing after a new version deployment for applications
  • Assist Solutions Engineers in building large-scale, high-availability systems for Enterprise Life Sciences clients
  • Create custom eLearning videos internally and for clients – on the eTMF and SSU modules
  • Document and test new software applications
  • Research, investigate and fix a wide range of technical issues such as Web services, etc.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders
  • Approach and analyze problems
  • Proactively learning about new technologies
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
