Position Summary

Bureau Veritas Vietnam is seeking an experienced E&I Inspector to support inspection and quality surveillance activities for the Phu Quoc Airport Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying Electrical & Instrumentation installation works to ensure compliance with approved specifications, construction standards, project requirements, and applicable codes.

This is a 6-month project assignment, working full-time at the project site in Phu Quoc.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation inspection, QA/QC, construction supervision, or related activities.
  • Experience in airport, infrastructure, industrial, commercial buildings, energy, oil & gas, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
  • Proven experience in electrical installation inspection and testing activities.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and pre-commissioning processes is an advantage.

E&I Inspector (Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector)

Location: Phu Quoc International Airport Project, Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Contract Type: Project-based / Fixed-term (06 months)

Reporting to: Project Manager

Inspection & Quality Control

  • Perform Electrical & Instrumentation inspections during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Verify compliance of E&I works with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
  • Conduct site surveillance and witness inspections for:
  • Review contractor quality documentation and inspection records.
  • Witness FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities when required.
  • Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports.
  • Maintain inspection records and project documentation.
  • Issue observation reports, NCRs, and inspection findings as required.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and BV project management regarding inspection results.

HSE Compliance

  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with project HSE requirements.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
  • Immediately report unsafe acts, conditions, or quality concerns.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with construction teams, QA/QC personnel, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Attend project meetings related to quality and inspection activities.
  • Provide technical recommendations regarding electrical and instrumentation works.
