Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

Position Summary

Our corporate purpose is to advance the world's infrastructure for a better quality of life. We empower people to design, build, and operate a better and more resilient infrastructure through the adoption of our digital twin solutions. The E&V team delivers the Bentley Partner Program (supporting a diverse and vibrant ecosystem of digital solutions required to support our users' needs), makes investments, and facilitates acquisitions through the Ventures team, all as supported by a robust Shared Services organization.

As the Business Operations Lead for Ecosystem & Ventures (E&V), you will be the driving force behind how our team learns, connects, and stays engaged. This role owns the E&V Community of Practice, leads our AI enablement journey, and champions employee engagement and recognition across a global, remote team. You will also keep the team's operational obligations — compliance training, expense and holiday tracking, budget oversight, and swag — running smoothly in the background so colleagues can focus on their work. Success in this role means fostering a connected, enabled, and engaged team while ensuring the day-to-day operational rhythms are well managed and never dropped. This role reports directly to the Senior Director, Programs and Operations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· 2–5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, employee engagement, or a related people-facing role, ideally within the Tech Industry.

· Genuine interest in AI tools and enablement, with the ability to translate new technology into practical adoption for a team.

· Experience planning and running engagement events or programs for a distributed/remote team.

· Strong organizational skills with proven ability to track and follow through on recurring operational obligations (compliance, expenses, time-off) without things falling through the cracks.

· Comfort managing a budget and reporting on spend, with good attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create content and messaging that resonates across a global team.

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and stakeholders at once.

· Proactive and resourceful, with a genuine enthusiasm for building community and culture.

· Advanced proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

This is a Home-based role.
