Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

Both roles offer the opportunity to influence key business decisions, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and build supplier relationships that create competitive advantage.

We're looking for commercially minded procurement professionals who thrive in fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environments, enjoy solving complex challenges, and are passionate about delivering measurable business impact.

This role is based at our Weybridge office, with the option to work from home up to one day per week, subject to business need. Candidates must be able to work onsite a minimum of four days per week.

Work pattern: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.

  • An experienced Procurement professional with expertise in either Directs or Packaging categories.
  • Experienced within FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering category plans and sourcing initiatives that drive business value.
  • A confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility across the organisation.
  • Experienced in supplier relationship management, risk mitigation and supply continuity planning.
  • Passionate about sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement within Procurement.
  • Commercially astute, data-driven and motivated by delivering tangible business outcomes.

YOU'LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

  • Developing and delivering category strategies aligned to business objectives, growth plans and risk management priorities.
  • Leading sourcing activities and commercial negotiations across strategic Direct Materials or Packaging categories.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise cost, improve supply resilience, drive innovation and enhance sustainability performance.
  • Building strong supplier partnerships that support business continuity, growth and long-term value creation.
  • Analysing market trends, cost drivers and industry dynamics to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Managing supplier performance, risk and contract compliance across critical spend areas.
  • Delivering measurable value through cost reduction, cost avoidance, working capital improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Influencing stakeholders through insight-led recommendations and strong commercial acumen.
