As a Senior Backend Developer at LiveRamp, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling robust backend systems that power our core products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and maintain high technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs using Java (Spring & Spring Boot) and Node.js v18.
- Design and implement integrations with AWS services, specifically DynamoDB, Glue, and Cognito.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure backend systems are reliable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
About You:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Deep expertise in Java (Spring & Spring Boot) and Node.js v18.
- Practical experience with AWS DynamoDB, Glue, and Cognito.
- Proficiency deploying and orchestrating applications with Kubernetes.
- Experience working within Agile development teams (preferred but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools for backend systems.
