Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

This is a highly visible role for someone who combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking and executive presence. You'll be responsible for helping clients maximise the value of their event technology ecosystem, delivering innovative attendee experiences and driving best practice across complex global programmes.

As one of Nteractive's senior Event Technology leaders, you'll bring expert knowledge of event software together with RainFocus experience, helping shape event technology strategy, solution design, programme scalability and digital transformation across some of the world's largest event and conference programmes.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a go-to advisor for event technology strategy
  • Lead strategic conversations around digital transformation, attendee experience and event technology roadmaps
  • Influence client decision-making through expert consultation, solution design and industry insights
  • Present confidently to executive audiences and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Translate complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes

RainFocus & Event Technology Leadership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for event software with experience in RainFocus, providing strategic guidance and leadership across client programmes
  • Advise on platform architecture, implementation strategies and optimisation opportunities
  • Provide oversight across registration, websites, attendee communications, reporting, integrations, housing and digital engagement experiences
  • Drive innovation across event technology ecosystems and attendee journeys
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies
  • Establish best practices, governance frameworks and scalable delivery models across Event Technology programmes
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and help shape Nteractive's Event Technology capabilities and offerings

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor and develop Event Technology Managers, Consultants and Specialists across your portfolio
  • Champion excellence, consistency and continuous improvement within the Event Technology function
  • Support the development of methodologies, standards and operational best practices
  • Provide leadership and guidance on complex or high-profile client programmes
  • Partner closely with Client Services, Project Leadership, Creative Studio and Production teams to deliver integrated client solutions

Growth & Commercial Impact

  • Support new business opportunities, solutioning and client growth initiatives
  • Contribute to proposals, pitches and client strategy discussions
  • Identify opportunities to expand Event Technology services across existing accounts
  • Partner with senior leaders to strengthen Nteractive's Event Technology proposition and market position

What you will bring

We're looking for a strategic thinker, trusted consultant and recognised Event Technology expert.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Significant experience leading Event Technology programmes for global enterprise clients
  • Advanced expertise in event software and RainFocus, including strategic consulting, solution design and programme delivery
  • Proven experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and client leadership teams
  • Strong understanding of event technology ecosystems, attendee management, registration, websites, communications and data strategy
  • Experience delivering large-scale global conferences, events and attendee programmes
  • Strong knowledge of platform integrations, data flows and digital engagement solutions
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing specialist teams
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive client value
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of AI, automation and emerging technologies within events and digital experiences
  • A passion for innovation, attendee experience and operational excellence

The Kind of Leader You Are

You're a recognised Event Technology professional with the ability to combine strategic vision, technical expertise and commercial thinking.

You are equally comfortable advising senior client stakeholders, leading strategic workshops, presenting recommendations to executive audiences or coaching technical teams through complex solutions.

You bring credibility and confidence into every room. People trust your expertise, value your perspective and look to you for guidance. You know when to challenge, when to influence and how to build consensus around the right solution.

Most importantly, you're passionate about using technology to create exceptional attendee experiences and measurable business outcomes.

You'll work alongside talented colleagues and industry-leading clients, helping define how event technology, attendee data, digital engagement and innovation come together to create world-class experiences.
