RESPONSIBILITIES:

Subject matter expert for Real Estate Fund Administration (FA), Real Estate Technology, and Fund Implementations.

Consistent involvement with troubleshooting and resolving business user’s requests in Yardi.

Thorough understanding of deal requirements in Real Estate Fund Administration for successful fund implementation, including leading scoping exercises with internal accounting teams for new entity setup.

Work with Real Estate accounting team to ensure best practices are utilized across all of Fund Administration.

Leverage accounting experience to support and optimize financial processes.

Supervise and mentor an Analyst, as well as train new employees and managing their workload.

Work with leadership to review, suggest, and implement process improvements to ensure compliance adherence across Real Estate accounting group.

Coordination of Yardi system configuration information with Tech team.

Coordination of data testing and validation for funds being implemented/migrated

Coordination of custom reporting setup

REQUIREMENTS:

Information Technology literate, proficient in Yardi (Investment Management a plus), and strong Excel skills

Strong understanding of different types of investments

Broad market knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Critical thinking skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to navigate unexpected challenges

Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity

2 to 4 years in fintech, financial services, real estate, finance, or accounting

Demonstrate the AD Values

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)

Knowledge of current industry standards (ex: ILPA reporting, return calculation methodology, performance modeling, etc.) a plus
