Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

About the role

Working as part of the cleaning team, you’ll ensure all areas are kept to a consistently high standard throughout your shift, with a strong focus on hygiene, presentation and attention to detail. This role will require you to work a 4o4o shift pattern, 08:30-14:30.

Please Note – this role is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 Months

You will be responsible for

  • Cleaning and maintaining offices, kitchens, toilets, showers, drying rooms and communal areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, using cleaning equipment where required.
  • Emptying bins, replacing liners and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
  • Cleaning and replenishing washroom and kitchen facilities, including soap, toilet rolls, blue roll and alcohol gel.
  • Dusting, wiping and disinfecting surfaces including furniture, lockers, sinks, mirrors, appliances and other accessible areas.

About you

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, but most importantly, you’ll have a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.

You’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, and able to work across different buildings and workplace environments. You’ll follow cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements, recognise when areas need additional attention, and always conduct yourself in a friendly, professional and respectful manner around colleagues and visitors.
