Roles & Responsibilities:

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to lead backend and frontend development activities for enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, Azure services, and batch-processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development team and drive technical implementation
  • Develop enterprise web applications using Spring Boot and Thymeleaf
  • Design and implement batch jobs using Spring Batch
  • Build integrations with MQ systems, HULFT, email services, and Azure services
  • Implement REST APIs and asynchronous processing patterns
  • Review code and enforce engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams for deployment and operational readiness
  • Optimize application performance and reliability
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct technical reviews
  • Support production issue analysis and resolution

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Java development experience
  • Strong expertise in:Java 17+Spring Boot 3.xSpring MVCThymeleafSpring BatchSpring Data JPARestful API
  • Experience with:Azure FunctionsAzure SQLAzure Blob StorageAzure Service Bus/RabbitMQ/IBM MQ – Good to haveSMTP/JavaMailSender
  • Strong understanding of:MultithreadingBatch orchestrationRetry/skip mechanismsTransaction managementError Handing and management
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Application Insights and Actuator

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Spring Apps or Azure App Services
  • Exposure to cloud-native architecture and observability
  • Agile/Scrum experience
