Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

Job Description

Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Automation & Developer PlatformsBuild and evolve Python-based automation and internal platforms that enable hundreds of engineers to build, test, comply, and ship faster, while keeping the platform stable and secure.

ContextWe are a team building and operating internal engineering platforms. Our scope spans CI/CD infrastructure and Python tooling/services that automate quality, compliance, and engineering workflows across multiple product teams.

What you'll doDesign, build, and maintain Python tools and services (CLI + APIs) used by many teams; focus on robustness, usability, and long-term maintainability.

Raise the bar on software engineering quality: architecture, testing strategy, code reviews, release, and documentation.

Improve and automate CI/CD workflows and platform operations, using an infrastructure-as-code and reliability mindset.

Build/operate platform components around monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.

Collaborate with internal "customers" (engineering teams): understand their workflow pain points, provide guidance, and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Occasionally handle support tickets / incidents (triage, mitigation, postmortems) with a strong bias for automation and prevention.

What this role isYou will work on multiple codebases and domains (automation, compliance, platform reliability). Variety is the norm.

You will have end-to-end ownership (design ? implementation ? rollout ? operability).

What we’re looking for (must-have)Strong professional experience building production-grade (Python) software (services, libraries, tooling) with solid engineering practices.

You care about code quality: clean design, tests, maintainable architecture, CI, and documentation.

Comfortable operating in a DevOps/SRE-style environment: automation-first, monitoring-driven, security-aware.

Able to context-switch and learn quickly; you enjoy improving systems used by many teams.

Nice-to-have-CI/CD & platform experience (e.g., Jenkins/Git-based workflows), container orchestration

Experience with documentation tooling and developer experience improvements.
