Job Duties
Under direct supervision, operates surface equipment in work locations for maintaining electromechanical, slickline and braided cables.
Performs cleaning, postforming, splicing, marking, profile tensioning, twisting, troubleshooting, etc.
Typically operates with support from another employee, not necessarily another Cable Specialist, and performs more than one maintenance task as a recognized expert.
Qualifications
An entry presentation covering Cables Technical and HSEQ topics is part of the qualification process. Requires 2 years minimum as a Service Operator II.
High school diploma required.
