Job Description

We are seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and operating a large-scale Kubernetes environment in a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model. This environment includes several bare-metal, multi-tenant clusters running over 18,000 pods in over 1,300 distinct namespaces on over 130 hardware servers.

Must have requirements:

  • Experience with on-premise Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Prometheus
  • Strong understanding of networking
  • Expertise in Linux

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience with Istio
  • Proficiency in Golang
  • Familiarity with Kyverno
  • Experience with Gitlab CI
  • Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Familiarity with Calico
  • Experience with Azure

Main tasks:

  • Ensure optimal maintenance of the platform through automation, monitoring, and performance measurements.
  • Participate in no-downtime physical migration of clusters and servers to a new data center.
  • Further develop the platform’s self-service capabilities.
  • Support our internal users in containerizing their existing applications.
  • Actively participate in the design and development of our platform.

Additional Information

Hybrid work model: 3 days from the office, 2 days of home office.

Office location: Warsaw, Poznań or Lublin.
