Job Title: Mechanical Inspector Trainee ( On-the-job Training)
Location: Muscat
Job Purpose
To support the inspection team in carrying out mechanical inspections and quality-related activities while learning inspection techniques, standards, and industry best practices. This is an entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates with no prior work experience. The successful candidate will receive structured on-the-job training to develop the skills and knowledge required for a Mechanical Inspector role.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior inspectors in conducting mechanical inspections.
Learn and apply inspection procedures, standards, and company requirements.
Support the preparation of inspection reports and documentation.
Monitor site activities and report any quality concerns.
Verify materials and equipment against specifications and drawings.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Maintain accurate inspection records and files.
Participate in training and development programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Fresh graduate or candidate with no prior experience.
Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Skills
Attention to detail.
Basic technical and analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Willingness to work at project sites and travel when required.
