Facade QA/QC Engineer – Job Profile Summary
Conduct inspections of façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and related installation works.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and project requirements.
Review and process WIR/IR, MIR, and QA/QC documentation.
Inspect façade materials upon delivery and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
Monitor installation quality, alignment, fixing, sealing, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Witness required façade testing and inspections as per project requirements.
Identify non-conforming works and follow up NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, façade specialists, and project teams on quality matters.
Maintain inspection records, test reports, checklists, and other quality documentation.
Participate in snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, and handover activities.
Prepare quality reports and highlight significant quality issues to project management.
