Payroll Specialist

Why a CV for this job?
- They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
- It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
- In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
- Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

- Respond to employee payroll queries, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions where necessary, providing a professional and timely service.
- Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports for internal departments and external bodies, maintain confidential payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.

A CIPP qualification or equivalent payroll certification is desirable. You will have a sound knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory payments, deductions and compliance requirements, alongside experience using payroll systems and Time and Attendance software. Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse and manage payroll data accurately are also essential.
Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, confidentiality and meeting deadlines are paramount. You will be a supportive team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, able to explain payroll matters clearly, resolve queries effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business. With a high level of integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will take pride in delivering a reliable, efficient and professional payroll service.
