Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

About the Role

Bitsight's engineering organization is changing fast. AI tools now write and review a growing share of our code, and the path from ticket to shipped change is shifting with them. We need a Technical Product Manager to help prioritize and coordinate execution on improvements to our process.

You will work closely with our engineering and AI subject matter expert teams. You will coordinate the work needed to improve and adopt AI-supported engineering workflows, bringing developer feedback, evidence, and open decisions to the people responsible for them.

What You'll Do

  • Work with engineering and product leaders to agree on priorities, team participation, and the changes needed to put those priorities into practice. Bring product context into engineering discussions, and bring developers’ feedback into product decisions. Work with engineering teams day to day on priorities, process, and how AI fits into their workflow.
  • Contribute to the AI SDLC roadmap. Gather input from engineers, surface high-impact use cases for AI in coding, review, testing, and documentation, and help shape priorities with the product and engineering leads.
  • Coordinate work on the AI code reviewer. Help teams and its engineering owners agree on needs, priorities, delivery plans, and follow-up.
  • Track the flow of work from ticket to merge request (MR). Spot gaps and bottlenecks, and work with teams to close them.
  • Help engineering teams and product partners agree on quality expectations for AI-generated code edits. Track outcomes against those expectations, flag trends, and follow up with the accountable owners.
  • Analyze where time goes across the SDLC. Pull the data, identify the biggest sources of delay, and recommend fixes.
  • Support adoption of AI tooling across engineering. Collect feedback, work with internal champions, and report on how teams are using the tools.
  • Work with security, compliance, and architecture partners so AI adoption stays safe and consistent with our policies.
  • Help update Bitsight's product process to fit an AI-driven SDLC, documenting changes and rolling them out.
  • Support the AI subject matter expert (SME) team with planning, prioritization, and coordinating their work with engineering teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a software engineer. You have written and shipped production code and can hold your own in technical conversations with engineers.
  • Familiarity with the SDLC, from idea to ticket to code to release.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. You can track many small, concurrent workstreams without dropping any.
  • A clear communicator. You write short, direct updates and speak comfortably with engineers, engineering leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Comfort with data. You can pull and analyze metrics to show what's working and what isn't. SQL or basic analysis skills are a plus.
  • A bias toward execution. You turn priorities into clear plans, owners, and decisions, follow through, and raise blockers early.
  • Curiosity about how AI changes software development, and a willingness to learn the trust and governance questions that come with it.
