Your Role

As an Agent Builder – Gemini AI at Capgemini, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and deploying intelligent AI agents that enable innovative business solutions powered by Generative AI. You will work closely with AI Architects, Product Owners, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to implement intelligent workflows, integrations, APIs, and conversational experiences leveraging Google's Gemini ecosystem.

This role requires hands-on experience with AI-driven applications, prompt engineering, API integrations, workflow orchestration, and software development best practices. You will help transform business requirements into scalable and secure AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities & Scope

Agent Development & Configuration

Build, configure, and deploy Gemini-powered AI Agents based on approved business and technical designs.

Configure agent instructions, behaviors, prompts, grounding strategies, tools, and guardrails.

Implement agent workflows that support conversational, operational, and business processes.

Continuously optimize agent performance, quality, and user experience.

Prompt Engineering & AI Enablement

Design, test, and refine prompts to improve agent accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.

Implement grounding mechanisms that ensure reliable and context-aware responses.

Configure guardrails and AI safety controls aligned with business and governance requirements.

Support evaluation and tuning of AI solutions to improve performance and adoption.

Integrations & API Development

Develop integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems, applications, and data sources.

Build and maintain APIs and supporting services that enable agent functionality.

Connect AI solutions to workflows, business processes, and external platforms.

Ensure reliable communication and interoperability across integrated environments.

Software Development & Quality Assurance

Implement sprint stories and technical requirements following Agile delivery practices.

Develop unit tests, integration tests, and validation procedures to ensure solution quality.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve defects across development and production environments.

Support release deployment, testing activities, and production stabilization efforts.

Apply secure development and software engineering best practices.

Documentation & Operational Support

Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

Document integrations, workflows, APIs, troubleshooting processes, and deployment activities.

Support knowledge transfer activities and operational readiness initiatives.

Participate in sprint reviews, demonstrations, testing cycles, and post-release support.
