Where You’ll Work

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in New Jersey, Raleigh, Chicago or London with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

Why this Role Matters

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be at the center of how Litera builds and ships the products that are transforming legal technology. You'll drive strategic R&D initiatives from planning through delivery, partnering with engineering leaders, cross-functional program managers, and international teams to keep complex projects on track. This is a high-visibility role where you'll directly influence the pace and quality of Litera's product innovation—owning the rhythm of how work moves from idea to impact.

What You’ll Deliver

• Drive strategic R&D projects end-to-end, from planning and resourcing through execution and delivery, ensuring initiatives land on time and meet their objectives.
• Own program management for active R&D integrations, including planning, status tracking, reporting, and meeting facilitation across cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans with clearly assigned responsibilities, dependencies, and critical path visibility for leadership and stakeholders.
• Champion Litera's RCDOs (Rally Cry Defining Objectives), ensuring consistency and quality of data, tracking program progress, and surfacing risks early.
• Manage competing priorities, shifting timelines, and project changes with confidence—escalating risks and recommending solutions before they become blockers.
• Deliver clear, regular reporting on project health, progress, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years of project or program management experience in a technology environment.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, or SAFe.
• Experience leading technical projects spanning infrastructure, software development, and product delivery.
• Proven track record supporting integration projects across complex technical environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with strong facilitation and organizational skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams across multiple time zones.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is the norm.
