Why a CV for this job?

94% of employers say their filters drop qualified candidates whose CV does not match the ad's exact criteria (Harvard Business School, 2021).

  • They see what they asked for, first. Your experience that matches the ad leads, in the ad's own words, so someone skimming finds it in seconds.
  • It gets past the software. Many larger employers use software that ranks CVs by how closely they match the ad, often before anyone reads them.
  • In the language of the ad. An ad written in Spanish gets a CV in Spanish, even when yours is in Portuguese.
  • Your facts, nothing invented. Your own experience, reordered and reworded. What the ad wants and your CV does not show is listed for you to add, only if it is true. You check it before you send it.

What this job involves - JLL is seeking a Senior Space Data and CAD Manager to serve as a strategic leader and technical expert overseeing CAD systems, drawing management, spatial data governance, and workplace data operations across regional or global portfolios. In this role, you will help ensure that floor plans, space records, occupancy data, and related workplace information are accurate, standardized, and actionable for clients and internal stakeholders. This role goes beyond traditional CAD administration by combining enterprise drawing governance, space data management, systems integration, reporting, and strategic portfolio support. You will lead efforts to strengthen data quality, improve consistency across CAD, BIM, IWMS, and CAFM environments, and enable better decision-making through trusted spatial and workplace data. The role is ideal for a leader who can connect technical drawing standards with broader business intelligence and operational outcomes.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Define, implement, and govern enterprise standards for CAD, BIM, and space data management, including drawing lifecycle controls, naming conventions, quality protocols, and documentation practices.
  • Lead the integration and synchronization of CAD drawings and spatial records with IWMS, CAFM, and related enterprise workplace platforms to support accurate reporting and operational workflows.
  • Own space data governance activities across portfolio records, including data validation, classification standards, attribute consistency, audit controls, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee regular auditing and validation programs for floor plans, room records, occupancy data, and spatial hierarchies to ensure compliance with internal standards and industry frameworks such as BOMA, IFMA, and IPMS.
  • Translate complex space, occupancy, and drawing data into actionable insights for senior clients, account leaders, workplace teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead large-scale data improvement initiatives, including drawing remediation, data cleansing, portfolio standardization, and migration efforts across workplace systems.
  • Partner with technology, GIS, analytics, and workplace teams to improve how space and occupancy data is captured, structured, visualized, and used.
  • Develop advanced reporting approaches and support dashboards or visual tools that help stakeholders evaluate portfolio performance, utilization, capacity, and planning opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide leadership on best practices for CAD administration, spatial data stewardship, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external architecture, engineering, and drafting vendors to ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings and associated master data.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging capabilities such as BIM-connected workflows, automation, AI-enabled drafting support, and digital twin use cases to improve efficiency and data reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement across end-to-end space data processes, including governance, publishing, auditing, reporting, and stakeholder enablement.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Facilities Management, Geographic Information Systems, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in CAD administration, spatial data management, workplace data governance, CAD/CAFM systems engineering, or related work within a large corporate real estate, workplace, or consulting environment.
  • Deep expertise in AutoCAD, enterprise drawing standards, and management of complex drawing environments.
  • Strong experience managing spatial and workplace data in conjunction with enterprise platforms such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, FM:Systems, Serraview, Eptura, OSIS, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leading space data quality, governance, and validation programs across large or complex portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of spatial measurement and classification standards including BOMA, IFMA, and IPMS.
  • Proven track record leading software migrations, standards development, large-scale data remediation, or system integration projects.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and data topics clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications

  • Professional certifications in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, CAFM/IWMS administration, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, BIM standards, and transition strategies from CAD-based to BIM- or digital twin-enabled environments.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, AutoLISP, or similar scripting and automation tools to improve drawing workflows and data processing.
  • Experience with GIS platforms and the integration of geographic and facilities data.
  • Experience building or supporting dashboards, spatial analytics, utilization insights, or executive reporting tools.
  • Strong background in data governance, metadata standards, process documentation, and cross-system data mapping.
  • A proactive, future-focused mindset with a passion for innovation, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
