Job Title - Planning Manager - Data Center Project
Location: Mumbai, India
Job Summary: JLL is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee Planning and Scheduling for Data Center Project Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of this complex project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather and integrate schedule information
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts
- Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to project management and clients
- Assist in resource allocation and optimization across project phases
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project milestones
- Support the change management process by assessing schedule impacts of proposed changes
- Mentor and guide junior planning staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / PG in construction management
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction planning for Data Center Projects
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Mumbai
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Construction Management or related field
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and practices
